Martin (Marty) H. Singer, Ph. D.Chairman & CEO
Dr. Singer serves as PCTEL’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board since October 2001. Prior to that, Dr. Singer served as PCTEL’s non-executive Chairman of the Board from February 2001 until October 2001, and he has been a director since August 1999. Dr. Singer served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SAFCO Technologies, a wireless communications company. He left SAFCO in August 2000 after its sale to Agilent Technologies. From September 1994 to December 1997, Dr. Singer served as Vice President and General Manager of the wireless access business development division for Motorola, a communications equipment company. Prior to this period, Dr. Singer held senior management and technical positions in Motorola, Tellabs, AT&T and Bell Labs.
Dr. Singer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Arts degree and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Singer currently serves as the Co-Chairman of the Midwest council of TechAmerica (formerly, AeA or the American Electronics Association) and has served on the standing advisory group for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (2005-2007) and Advisory Board for the MMM program at Kellogg School of Business (2003-2009). He also serves on the board of Westell and is Chair of Westell’s Compensation Committee. Dr. Singer has eight (8) patents in telecommunications and is the author of several essays on the telecommunications industry and technology competitiveness. Dr. Singer was awarded the Martin Sandler Achievement Award by the American Israel Chamber of Commerce in 2007 and the Executive Leadership Award by AeA/TechAmerica in 2008. He currently serves on Governor Quinn’s Illinois Economic Recovery Commission and is a member of IEEE, the Economic Club of Chicago (ECC), and the Licensing Executives Society (LES).

John Schoen CFO
John was a 19 year Motorola veteran with broad experience in Intellectual Property licensing, management of international manufacturing operations, and traditional controller responsibilities. John served as controller of Motorola's fixed wireless division and helped managed its growth to a $250 million operation. He held the COO and CFO positions at SAFCO Technologies during its growth from a $18 to $42 million operation and managed the transition of SAFCO to Agilent Technology's ownership. John has served as PCTEL's COO and CFO since November, 2001 and successfully restructured the company's IT, inventory and forecasting processes while executing the company's transition to wireless. John is a CPA and began his career with Ernst & Young LLP. He received his BS in Accounting from DePaul University.

Jeff Miller Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Jeff is currently responsible for all of PCTEL’s Sales and Marketing activities. Jeff has performed a number of roles at PCTEL since November 2001. Most recently, Jeff was responsible for PCTEL’s antenna business. Prior to that Jeff was responsible for PCTEL’s global sales activities. Jeff has previously been responsible for PCTEL's business development and licensing programs as well as leading engineering and development activities. Jeff started his career at Motorola and spent 14 years at Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group in a number of technical and management roles. Jeff managed large software projects in the areas of cellular switching and network management systems. After leaving Motorola, Jeff ran a successful consulting practice concentrating on requirements development and implementation for Intelligent Networking solutions and large-scale Network Management applications. Jeff left his consulting career to lead SAFCO Technologies Test and Measurement group for three years before its acquisition by Agilent Technologies. Jeff earned his BS in Computer Science from University of Illinois.

Varda Goldman Vice President and General Counsel
Before joining PCTEL, Varda served as a vice president of legal services for Motorola's Commercial Government and Industrial Solutions Sector (CGISS). She also served as vice president and lead counsel for Motorola’s Cellular Infrastructure Group (CIG) during its growth from $500 million to $4.5 billion in revenue. Varda began her career at Motorola in 1977 supporting the automotive and electronics group. She received her undergraduate and law degrees at Northwestern University and DePaul University of Law, respectively.

Tony Kobrinetz Vice president, Technology and Operations
Before coming to PCTEL, Tony was most recently responsible for leading Motorola’s entrée into broadband wireless access with particular focus on the development of WiMAX products and services. Previously as the General Manager (and Business Founder) of the Canopy Business he successfully transitioned the wireless broadband technology incubator into a commercial business with product development, operations, sales and marketing. Tony also served as general manager for the Advanced Products Division that designed and manufactured the first digital infrastructure platform that Motorola produced for the Japanese cellular infrastructure market.
As a seasoned technology and business professional, Tony has devoted over 30 years to the shaping of mobile telephony, wireless local area networks, cellular telecommunications and Telematics. He has held executive-level positions in product development, supply chain and system implementation of innovative communications equipment. Other key accomplishments include the development of a private wireless data network in the United States as well as the pioneering of a wireless local area network at 18 GHz. Tony holds numerous patents in communication components and systems. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago.
