Martin (Marty) H. Singer, Ph.D.

Chairman & CEO

Marty Singer At Nasdaq

Dr. Singer has served as PCTEL's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board since October 2001 and has been on the company’s board since August 1999. Dr. Singer also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SAFCO Technologies, a wireless communications company. Prior to SAFCO Technologies, Dr. Singer served as Vice President and General Manager of the wireless access business development division for Motorola, a communications equipment company. He also held senior management and technical positions at Tellabs, AT&T and Bell Labs.

Dr. Singer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Arts degree and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Singer has served as the Chairman and Co-Chair of TechAmerica’s Midwest Council (2004-2012) and as a member of the standing advisory group for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (2005-2007). Dr. Singer has eight (8) patents in telecommunications and is the author of several essays on the telecommunications industry and technology competitiveness and public policy. Dr. Singer was awarded the Martin Sandler Achievement Award by the American Israel Chamber of Commerce in 2007 and the Executive Leadership Award by TechAmerica in 2008. In 2011, Dr. Singer was appointed by Illinois Governor Quinn to serve on the Broadband Deployment Council and was previously appointed and served as a Commissioner on the Illinois' Economic Recovery Commission. He is also a member of IEEE, the Economic Club of Chicago (ECC), and the Licensing Executives Society (LES).

John Schoen

Senior Vice President & CFO

John was a 19 year Motorola veteran with broad experience in Intellectual Property licensing, management of international manufacturing operations, and traditional controller responsibilities. John served as controller of Motorola's fixed wireless division and helped managed its growth to a $250 million operation. He held the COO and CFO positions at SAFCO Technologies during its growth from a $18 to $42 million operation and managed the transition of SAFCO to Agilent Technology's ownership. John has served as PCTEL's COO and CFO since November, 2001 and successfully restructured the company's IT, inventory and forecasting processes while executing the company's transition to wireless. John is a CPA and began his career with Ernst & Young LLP. He received his BS in Accounting from DePaul University.

Jeff Miller

Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Connected Solutions

Jeff has performed a number of roles at PCTEL since November 2001. Recently, Jeff was responsible for PCTEL's antenna business. Prior to that Jeff was responsible for PCTEL's global sales activities. Jeff has previously been responsible for PCTEL's business development and licensing programs as well as leading engineering and development activities. Jeff started his career at Motorola and spent 14 years at Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group in a number of technical and management roles. Jeff managed large software projects in the areas of cellular switching and network management systems. After leaving Motorola, Jeff ran a successful consulting practice concentrating on requirements development and implementation for Intelligent Networking solutions and large-scale Network Management applications. Jeff left his consulting career to lead SAFCO Technologies Test and Measurement group for three years before its acquisition by Agilent Technologies. Jeff earned his BS in Computer Science from University of Illinois.

David Neumann

Senior Vice President and General Manager, RF Solutions

David is currently responsible for PCTEL’s RF Solutions business, which includes the scanning receiver product lines, engineering services, and network analytics. Previously, as PCTEL’s Global Vice President of Sales, David expanded PCTEL’s scanner business in China, managed the engineering services business and added key OEM sales channels. Before joining PCTEL, David held several senior sales and marketing roles in the wireless test and measurement industry, including Vice President of Sales and Marketing at SAFCO Technologies, which was later acquired by Agilent Technologies. David has also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at X-TEL Communications, Inc., which was an OEM for PCTEL, and as Director of Market Development at Acterna, which was acquired by JDSU. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Shelley Bacastow

Vice President and General Counsel

Shelley joined PCTEL’s Legal Department in 2003 and has most recently served as PCTEL’s Assistant General Counsel. Shelley began her career at the Chicago-based law firm Chapman and Cutler where she focused on finance for 11 years. After one year handling primarily commercial matters at MCI Telecommunications, Inc., Shelley joined the Law Department at Motorola, Inc., where she initially supported the Cellular Infrastructure Group and subsequently became the head of the Law Department’s Global Finance Group. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from University of Wisconsin - Madison and a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.

Rishi Bharadwaj

Vice President and General Manager, Connected Solutions

Rishi most recently served as PCTEL's Vice President of Global Sales for the company's antenna product line. Previously, he led the company's patent licensing efforts, strategic development, and product management. Prior to PCTEL, Rishi held several RF and software engineering roles Rishi, developing data collection and data analytics tools for the cellular industry at Safco Technologies and then at Agilent, which acquired Safco. Rishi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He holds a patent for measuring data quality in wireless communication networks.

Carolyn Dolezal

Vice President, Strategy and Chief Marketing Officer

Before joining PCTEL's management team, Carolyn served as Compensation Committee Chair on PCTEL's Board of Directors and was the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive-Technology Industry Practice, and Chief Information Officer of SmithBucklin, Inc. At SmithBucklin, Carolyn was responsible for all client management, service delivery, operations, new business and overall P&L for the Technology client organizations. Prior to SmithBucklin, from January 2007 to May 2009, Carolyn was President of SEI, LLC, a privately held company providing custom call center services to companies on a worldwide basis. Prior to SEI, from 1992 to 2007, she held a number of senior management positions at Motorola, Inc., among them, Senior Director, Public Service Solutions and Broadband Applications; Senior Director, Strategic Marketing and Business Operations; Acting General Manager: Senior Director, Marketing and Business Operations-Invisix; and Director, Marketing and Business Operations. Ms. Dolezal holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and a Master of Management: MBA in Finance, Marketing and Management Policy from Kellogg Graduate School of Management - Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
