PCTEL is committed to educating, training, and supporting our employees and encouraging them to be involved and make a difference in their communities. For example, we have taken the following specific actions:

  • During the COVID–19 pandemic, PCTEL:
    • Exceeded federal and state guidelines for safety
    • Provided paid leave to employees and proactively closed the production facility for two weeks during an expected surge in COVID-19 cases to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among our employees
    • Allowed production employees whose duties do not permit work-from-home to report to work on a voluntary basis during the early months of the pandemic
    • Made several improvements to our facilities in order to protect the health and safety of our employees and community
  • We developed the following programs to provide training and to encourage our employees to be good corporate citizens and stewards of our assets, including our reputation:
    • Leadership development and mentoring program in which the executive officers provide one-on-one guidance to our future leaders and the Company provides professional group coaching and training
    • Sales training both internally and through external programs
    • Training related to expected behavior of PCTEL directors, officers and employees consistent with our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
    • Training related to diversity and inclusion
    • Annual sexual harassment training to help employees understand what sexual harassment is and how it negatively impacts both employees and PCTEL
    • Annual Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and anti-bribery training to ensure employees understand the negative impact of bribery and violations of these laws
  • We provide our employees with healthcare and other wellness benefits that exceed the norms for our industry and size:
    • High quality and comprehensive health and dental care insurance at an affordable price and Company-paid vision insurance for employees, their families and domestic partners
    • Company-paid life insurance coverage up to specified limits
    • Company-paid short and long-term disability insurance

  • We offer other benefits for the education and welfare of our employees, including:

    • Paid bereavement leave
    • Wages of not less than $15 per hour for every position in PCTEL’s United States locations.
    • Employee Stock Purchase Plan, enabling U.S. employees to acquire equity ownership in the company at a discount
    • A 401(k) plan for our US employees with a company match of employees elective deferrals up to 4% of their compensation
  • PCTEL provides paid time off (PTO) for employees to volunteer at a charitable program of their choice
  • Employees can participate in programs to help those in need in our community, such as team volunteer programs and a program to provide holiday gifts to those in need
